Position the DBT with the locator prongs and install with a single 3.75 x30mm square twist nail. Using dry timber will minimise deck board movement after installation.
Made from 1.2mm mild steel. Pre-galvanised finish.
Use properly spaced, good, dry deck boards. Deck boards must be at least 25mm thick. The DBT will not eliminate wood movement like cupping, warping or checking.
To estimate the number of DBT Ties needed, multiply number of joists by number of deck boards.
