Quick Overview

  • Popular product featuring sound tight knots, attractive grain patterns and other natural characteristics
  • Some boards may need some work to restore to natural beauty
  • Offers immense visual appeal at an economical price
  • forty-percent-off

Please be aware some of these boards may have some minor natural defects which would not ordinarily meet our high quality control standards.

While the majority of boards are in superb condition, some boards may be slightly weathered in parts, have manufacture/milling marks and contain excessive natural characteristics which are not grade-representative.

Images to the left show a recent customer project using similar boards, which once cleaned and finished with Biowash Wood Care Products created a stunning deck at a fraction of the standard cost.

Such boards are perfectly usable, however may require attention such as cutting out sections, sanding boards or a wood cleaner and finish applying, resulting in a beautiful deck using simple tools.

Of course, the possible extra work required is reflected in the low price, with boards discounted by 40% offering outstanding value at just £1.00 per linear metre (exc VAT).

Cedardeck is the highest grade of 'Architectural Knotty' Western Red Cedar available; exceeding grading rules set by the Western Red Cedar Lumber Association. Durable, well manufactured Cedar decking that comes ready to use.

This sound and tight knotted decking limits both the size and quality of characteristics, whilst the smooth, skip-free dressing over the entire face makes it the ideal deck surface.

The top choice where the natural beauty and lasting charm of a knotty deck are desired.

When it comes to decking there is no better choice than Western Red Cedar.

This unique species has long been the preferred decking material for homeowners and professional contractors in North America and it is now the choice of discerning homeowners here in the UK. Western Red Cedar offers superb value for money when you consider its unbeatable quality, appearance and longevity.

The natural oils in cedar help make the wood resistant to decay and insect attack, increasing its durability and weatherability without the use of chemical treatments. It's dimensionally stable much more so than other woods so there is minimal shrinkage; your deck will stay straight and sturdy. And you'll find cedar easy to work with; no special tools are needed.

Above all, the wood has a beauty all its own with colours, grains, and textures unmatched by any other decking material. If you want colours other than Cedar's own natural tones, the wood can easily be stained. Properly constructed and maintained, a cedar deck will look good for years, adding prestige and value to your home and garden.

Western Red Cedar is the ultimate green building material. It is legally, responsibly and sustainably harvested in the publicliy managed forests of British Columbia, Canada. Less than 1% of standing timber is harvested each year.

For each tree harvested, three are replanted to ensure the forests will exist in perpetuity. Western Red Cedar has a low impact on the environment throughout its life cycle. It requires significantly less energy to produce than man-made alternatives and is bio-degradable.
