No, your eyes were not deceiving you, we have kiln dried 'A & Better Clear' grade Western Red Cedar bevel cladding in stock at just £1.04 per metre!
Installed with the recommended 25mm overlap that works out to just £16.38 per square metre (excluding VAT).
Although the price suggests otherwise, this is a high quality, well manufactured product suitable for use on all residential and commercial projects. At this price you could even use it to build a garden shed or studio without it breaking the bank.
This Western Red Cedar bevel cladding has a fine sawn finish which gives it an appealing warmth and texture. It is graded on one face only so there may be natural defects on the reverse of the board. If you are using as cladding this will be irrelevant. This product can also be used as vertical 'featheredge' fencing but there will be visible minor defects on the back of the fence.
Please note that full packs are sold unchecked, i.e. we don't check every board before it goes out. Packs may have a small percentage of boards with minor natural defects or the odd mark caused during the manufacture and handing process. This is standard throughout the industry and generally these boards can easily be reworked on site to eliminate any such defects. This is factored into the price of full packs. It is likely that these particular packs are virtually defect free but we thought we'd mention it anyway.
