Eye-catching appearance with bold shadow lines

Bevel or Featheredge is a popular cladding type. It is produced by re-sawing boards at an angle to produce two pieces thicker on one edge than on the other. Bevel cladding is installed horizontally and gives an attractive shadow line effect. The rebate allows for simple installation, ensures even spacing and reduces installation time.

Visible wood grain creates a beautiful warm look

The fine saw textured face gives this cladding a beautiful natural appearance that makes the wood grain more visible and exudes a feeling of warmth, adding an extra layer to its appeal.

Surface Texture

This bevel cladding has a SAWtex® textured face. The SAWtex® face will accept and retain finish significantly better smooth planed wood, thus improving appearance and minimising future maintenance.

Kiln Dried

This cladding is kiln dried to a moisture content of 16-18% (+/-2%), the optimal moisture content for external cladding in the UK. Among its many benefits over air drying, the kiln drying process enables the boards to dry uniformly to achieve optimum dimensional stability. It also enables immediate application of coatings and minimises site acclimatisation. Read more about the importance of kiln drying.
