The protective decking spacer strip is inserted between timber decking and the substructure when face fixing the deck boards. It is designed to help prevent moisture from becoming trapped between timber components by increasing air circulation. This creates a healthier environment between the deck boards and substructure that can enhance the performance and prolong the life of the timber.
