Each nail is manufactured in accordance with BS1202 utilising high-quality stainless steel wire and are classed as 304 Grade Stainless Steel.

We highly recommend to always use stainless steel nails when working with Western Red Cedar, Siberian Larch and similar wood species that contain a high tannin content. This will prevent wood staining.

Approximate Usage Guide

  • 1 kilo of 31mm ring shank nails will be required to fix 4 bundles of shingles.
  • 1 kilo of 50mm ring shank nails will be required to fix 4 bundles of shakes.
  • 1 bundle of pre-formed hip and ridge caps requires 72 nails.
