Silva ThermoWood® is an attractive, sustainable solid wood material produced using a chemical-free natural process involving heat and steam.
This thermal modification process makes it durable, dimensionally stable, resin-free, and even changes its colour to a pleasing warm brown.
Silva ThermoWood boards are used for open jointed cladding, fascia, barge boards, door and window reveals, corner trim, fences, horizontal slatted screens, and many more applications.
Before purchasing, please read the full product description and technical information in the tabs below.
Wastage Allowance
We recommend adding an additional 10-15% over and above your initial requirements.
Delivery
Items listed as 'in production' have an extended delivery lead-time of up to 5 weeks. Standard delivery lead-times apply to all other products.
There is a £450 (ex VAT) / £540 (inc VAT) minimum basket value applicable to all orders containing cladding, decking, and fencing products. Read the full details.
ThermoWood is produced from Finnish-grown European Redwood (Scandinavian Pine) which is heat-treated to temperatures in excess of 200 degrees Centigrade. This process improves the properties of Silva ThermoWood making it an ideal material for use in exposed areas such as external wall claddings.
These ThermoWood Boards are graded on one face only. Boards are not reversible and, as such, some surface/roller marks may be expected on the rear of the boards.
