Silva operates an extensive machine shop equipped with a comprehensive range of modern machinery, enabling us to produce high quality and consistent profiles and mouldings.

Two state-of-the-art German Weinig moulders form the backbone of Silva's production.  They are fast, accurate, and produce an excellent quality finished product.

In 2019 Silva invested over £300,000 in machinery, including a brand-new Weinig moulder to help meet demand.

Having an in-house tool room gives Silva the advantage of being able to produce and sharpen its own cutters.  We can produce virtually any profile from a drawing or a pattern.

This combination of a modern, efficient machine shop, an experienced team, and an extensive stock of high-quality timber enables Silva to provide our customers with a product that is second to none.
