Western Red Cedar is famed for its extraordinary beauty, natural durability, and dimensional stability. It exudes warmth, thanks to its richly textured, tactile grain and palette of mellow colour tones, which vary from light amber to dark reddish-brown.
Cascadia posts are produced for Silva by Terminal Forest Products, a world-class manufacturer of Western Red Cedar products with an unrivalled reputation for quality. The wood fibre is from second-growth logs harvested in coastal forests of British Columbia, Canada. Cascadia posts are produced from superior kiln-dried live knotted Western Red Cedar. They are planed with eased edges.
Cascadia Western Red Cedar posts can be used to build slatted screen fences, board fences, decks, pergolas, gazebos, etc.
Please ensure when ordering that you make an allowance for wastage. We recommend adding an additional 10-15% over and above your initial requirements.
Cascadia is sustainably sourced from well-managed forests and supplied with full PEFC chain of custody certification.
